Just beyond the Tuileries garden is the Place de la Concorde. There, four more FIAC installations were placed. Each was a room or structure of sorts.
Below is a round, roofless structure with multi-colored glass panels.
We watched a team carefully assemble the structure. The glass panels, because each is transparent and differently colored, interact to create even more colors depending on where you look.
Marie-Chantal stands inside the structure, where the glass panels change colors again.
Another structure on the square is an innovative 1944 small home, designed for mass production and quick assembly on site.
The house, although small, felt large inside because of the open floorplan and large windows. One unanswered question is "Where's the bathroom?".
Another building installed on the Place de la Concorde appears below.
Below, Marie-Chantal stands in the black glass building. While the glass outside is reflective, the glass inside is nearly clear, providing a view of the entire Place de la Concorde.
Another installation on the Place de la Concorde is pictured below.
Below are close up views of the two works.

Thanks for touring FIAC Hors les Murs (Outside the Walls) with us. We hope there is something in the collection that you liked.
