Funny Signs and Other Things

We recently visited the city of Bordeaux and the nearby village of Saint-Émilion.  We enjoyed our visit and we were delighted to see some amusing things.

If Greg ever lives in Bordeaux, he thinks he should live on the street pictured below.  Sometimes he can be, as the French say, quite the idiot.

In Bordeaux, we spotted a road sign modified by street artist Clet Abraham.  The sign was especially fitting for Bordeaux, the wine capital of France.

We spotted two more modified road signs by other street artists.

In a church in Saint-Émilion, we spotted a modern way for making donations to restore the church.  A credit card machine in a church?  That's unusual!

In Saint-Émilion, Susan made a new friend, a sanglier (wild boar).  The wagging tail proves Susan's friend likes being patted on the head.

Bordeaux has a tram system.  Some of the crosswalks warn pedestrians to be cautious.  Otherwise, you might be run over by the equivalent of a skate-boarding rhinoceros.

If you are looking for mediocre pizza in Bordeaux, we know just the place for you.

Thanks for sharing some amusing things spotted during our visit.
