Cherry Blossoms in D.C. #3

Yesterday, we enjoyed a walking tour that included a stroll around the Tidal Basin in D.C.

The Tidal Basin is lined with two thousand cherry trees.  As you can see in the photos below, the cherry trees are now in full bloom.  Some blossoms are pink, others are white.  The spectacle is magical. Enjoy!

The Tidal Basin with the Washington Monument in the distance and the Jefferson Memorial to the right (4/4/2018).  A crazy jogger endures the chilling wind.
On the day we visited the Tidal Basin, the wind was whipping across the water, making small waves and even white caps.  You can see for yourself.

Below, a windblown random hottie enjoys the cherry blossoms.

Thanks for viewing the cherry blossoms with us.
