Where do we live in DC?
We live in a nice apartment in a section of DC known as the West End, next to Georgetown and Foggy Bottom. The apartment is a duplex on the 7th and 8th floors. Below is a photographic tour of the apartment before our furniture arrived.
The building was completed in the 1980's but was recently updated with the addition of lots of glass on the lower floors.
The renovated lobby is especially nice.
The lobby includes a spacious lounge for parties and for just hanging.
Below is our apartment, with a photo of the living room and terrace. The fireplace is a working wood-burning fireplace.

Let's head upstairs to the bedrooms.
The master bedroom is big, with large windows and a nice view.
Below is the guest bedroom, with access to a terrace. We call this bedroom the Lincoln Bedroom.
Let's head back downstairs. Here are some views from the terrace adjacent to the living room.
