Today, we picked up our visas, which will allow us to stay in France for one year.
Normally, U.S. nationals can visit France as tourists without a visa for up to 90 days out of every 180 days. Stays longer than 90 days require a visa.
We were unsure whether we would receive long-stay visas. The process for obtaining Italian long-stay visas was challenging. So, we were relieved when we received our French visas.
Now, we can arrange a place to live in Paris. Greg is hoping to rent some space in the centrally located Élysée Palace, the official residence of the President of France. Check out the photos below and you will understand why Greg would like to live there.
