Wildlife in Paris #2

Paris has a lot of wildlife.  

One very important animal is the honey bee.  In fact, the bee is so important that honey bees have a special home next to the Louvre in the Tuileries Garden.  No joke.

During one of our many walks, we spotted a group of 6 apiaries in the garden.  Check it out.  



Bees were introduced several years ago to enhance the garden's biodiversity.  You can read more about the project below.


Bug hotels in parks.  Bee hives in the Tuileries.  What's next, lawn-mowing goats?
