Public Art in Paris #3

Art is everywhere in Paris.

The nearby Tuileries Garden is filled with public art.  Because we often take a walk in the garden, we have seen a lot of the public art on display there.  Most of the works are sculptures from the Renaissance or Modern eras.  Some are originals, while others are copies because the originals have been moved indoors to avoid further damage from the elements.

Here are some photographs of sculptures in the Tuileries Garden.

At the western gate of the Tuileries Garden, Mercury Mounted on Pegasus,  one of the Chevaux Ailée (Winged Horses) by Antoine Coysevox (1701-1702)
In the nearby courtyard of the Louvre is another sculpture after Italian master Bernini.

Thanks for joining us for a walk in the Tuileries Garden.
