Springtime in Paris #12

The official end of Spring and start of Summer is about a week away.  Of course, flowers are still blooming and we enjoy seeing and smelling them as we stroll around Paris.

While visiting the Jardin du Luxembourg, we saw geraniums, marigolds and roses.

The Palais du Luxembourg, once home to one of the Florentine Medici (Marie de Médicis, Queen of France) and today home to France's Senate

The Jardin des Tuileries is located just steps from our apartment building.  So, we walk there almost every day--sometimes two or three times in a day.  We are always rewarded with seeing lovely flowers.  The Tuileries gardeners have pouces vertes (green thumbs).

We even found some rose bushes that were a couple feet taller than Jean-Claude.  Check it out.
