Strolling in D.C. #10

While strolling in D.C., we never know what we might find.

Recently, we ventured out for a stroll in chilly weather.  Along the way, Susan made a new friend.  Check it out.

Some random hottie with a new friend
After talking for a bit, Susan learned that her new friend is a Carolina Tarheels fan (note the Carolina blue skin), loves recycling all sorts of stuff, enjoys saving money and squeals happily when its ears are rubbed.

We hope you make new friends in your travels.

P.S.  We spotted that pig again and learned a bit more.

The pig is one of 15 pigs located next to D.C. middle and high schools.  The pigs represent piggy banks and were placed in 2005 as art of Capital One's "stash your cash" campaign to teach money management skills to D.C. teenagers.

P.P.S.  During a stroll on another day, we spotted another pig.
