Around the holidays, we attended a special event at our church--Jazz Vespers, featuring the Blues Alley Youth Ensemble.
The Blues Alley jazz club is located a block from the church and the church's rector is a big fan of all things jazz. So, it is no surprise that he welcomes the Youth Ensemble to perform at church events. The group is composed of talented musicians ranging from 14 to 17 years old who play big band jazz. We enjoyed the ensemble's performance.
Below is some random hottie standing in front of Blue Alley. Yes, the club is actually located in n alley. The building was once a horse stable. No joke.
