What Do Michelangelo and Gelato Have in Common? (Part 2 of 2)

Location, location, location.

What made the festival all the more wonderful is the location.  The festival is hosted at the Piazzale Michelangelo, a large square that overlooks Florence. So, while enjoying exquisite gelato and the exquisite David statue, we enjoyed exquisite views of Florence.

Although the festival has ended, it will return in the near future.  In September this year, after touring the rest of Italy, plus London, Warsaw and Hamburg, the 2017 international gelato competition will return to Florence for the final championship round.  We already have the dates marked on our calendar, September 14-17.  Perhaps you will visit us then?
