What made the pizza and gelato making experience so wonderful was the setting.
The class was held at a working farm on the south side of Florence's Arno River. The farm is located in a very hilly, very green area just minutes from the Florence's center. We were amazed that such a serene oasis was so close to town.
We arrived at the gate, walked along a garden path and then descended a long stairway down the hill.
At the bottom of the stairway, we discovered a beautiful, breathtaking view.
In addition to the wonderful view, there was an abundance of flowers.
We enjoyed learning how to make pizza and gelato and we enjoyed the beautiful setting. We want to return and hope you will join us.
