Where do you live in D.C.? #7 (Part 2 of 2)

Where do we live in D.C.?

In an earlier blog post, we shared the fact that we can see the Washington Monument from our building's rooftop.  We guessed we might be able to see the fireworks from the rooftop.  Fortunately, we guessed correctly.  We shared the experience with daughter Sally (who was visiting from Gainesville, Florida) and Orlando friend Steve (who is currently working in D.C.).

Steve was kind enough to bring some holiday cookies from nearby Dean & DeLuca to add to our rooftop picnic.  Check it out.

From the roof, we enjoyed a great view of the fireworks on the Mall, plus other fireworks displays elsewhere in D.C. and in nearby Virginia.  Here are some of our photos.

Thanks for viewing the July 4th fireworks with us.
