Il Giglio--Addendum #1

Il Giglio is a very important symbol in Florence, a flower representing the city of Florence for many centuries.

In an earlier blog post, we shared some information about the possible origin of the symbol as well as a few photos.

Wherever we venture in Florence, we see Il Giglio everywhere we look.  Below are some more photos that will given you a sense of the symbol's prevalence in Florence.
