Public Art in Paris #2

More public art in Paris.

First, in the Tuileries garden, we spotted a colorful Calder mobile.  (Or maybe it's a stabile, since it's based on the ground and not in the air?!?!) On windy days, it really moves.  Below, some random dude poses in front of the mobile.

 

Next, in the courtyard of the Palais Royal, not far from our apartment, is a modern art installation called Les Deux Plateaux by French conceptual, guerilla artist Daniel Buren (1985-1986).  The work, also called the Colonnes de Buren (Columns of Buren) is a set of striped columns of varying heights organized in a geometric pattern.
