Our sojourn in Siracusa is coming to an end.
While visiting Siracusa, we enjoyed lunch at a remote villa and farm in the region. After a long drive, we were rewarded with a tour of the very old farm and a buffet of tasty food and refreshing beverages.
The picturesque farm is centuries old, with workshops, stables and storage sheds.
The barn is surrounded with flowering trees and plants making for a lovely venue for lunch.
Lunch was enjoyable, with great company and wonderful food served family-style.
We had the pleasure of meeting the farm's owner, a very gracious Contessa. We also had the pleasure of meeting our guides parents and brother, who is also a tour guide.

Thanks for joining our visit to Siracusa.
Our travels in Italy will resume shortly with visits to other gems in Sicily.
