Summertime in Paris #6

[The hiatus has ended.  We have returned to Paris to enjoy the last four months of Year 4.  Our time will be filled with visitors, trips in and outside France and local life.  Thanks for staying tuned.]

Summer is drawing to a close.  When we left Paris in mid-August, the weather was hot, the city was filled with tourists and the fair was operating in the Tuileries garden.  Now, the weather is pleasant, with cool, sunny days.  Parisians have returned from vacation and there are fewer tourists.

Plus, the fair in the Tuileries garden is gone.

Then:

Now: Below, Marie-Chantal stands where the the Grand Roue once stood:  "Where did it go?"

Marie-Chantal asks: Où est-il allé?
Fortunately, although the fair is gone, flowers are still blooming in the Tuileries garden.

Below are some lovely flowers in a park along the Champs-Élysées.

And below are more late Summer flowers in front of the Petit Palais.

Thanks for strolling with us.
