"Where do live in New York" (Part 7)

Does the scene in the photo below look familiar?  Taken on a recent sunny afternoon, the photo shows the Queensboro Bridge spanning the East River.


If you are a fan of Woody Allen films, then you might recognize the scene from the film Manhattan.




Both the film scene and the photo were shot from Sutton Place, not far from where we live.  Sutton Place is quiet oasis in a noisy city.  It is situated on the East River just below the Queensboro Bridge. Because of location and traffic patterns, it enjoys very little traffic, not to mention lovely river views.  The view of the Queensboro Bridge at night is especially nice. 


Susan has taken personal ownership of the bridge and calls it her bridge.  We left a message at the Mayor's office about getting the bridge renamed.  We are still waiting for a return call.
