We visited the Tate Modern, a museum devoted to modern and contemporary art that is housed in a former powerhouse located along the Thames. As you can imagine, the building is huge with a cavernous atrium and many levels with galleries.
The Tate’s permanent collection is interesting and we spotted some wonderful works of art, including a sculpture by one of Greg’s favorite artists.
The Tate Modern is also hosting a temporary exhibition devoted to Paul Cezanne. The collection of works assembled is extensive and varied and we were so pleased to view it. Here is a sampling.
We even spotted a fellow visiter who seemed to be making her own artistic statement. Check it out.
Thanks for visiting the Tate Modern with us.
