While rambling around Paris, we spotted a cafe decorated with colorful parapluies (umbrellas).
For all of you longtime fans of the discount chain KMart, here is some good news. KMart is alive and well in Paris. (If you look closely, you'll see that the K stands for Korea...)
Near Les Invalides on the Left Bank, we spotted an underground gas station and car wash. They are located under a large park. Placing things like gas stations and parking lots underground in Paris makes good sense. "Let's keep Paris Beautiful."
During Fashion Week, we spotted some interesting high-heeled shoes. We guess they were designed by Ernő Rubik.
While shopping at IKEA's store in the heart of Paris, we spotted some vintage-style Scandinavian furniture.

Apparently, IKEA is making its chairs much bigger these days.
We occasionally enjoy street food, especially crêpes. We have a favorite crêpe stand that we visit (pictured below). The crêpière (crepe maker) always starts with batter to ensure the crêpes are fresh.
We usually order crêpes with fromage or fromage et jambon (cheese and ham). A tasty alternative is a chocolate crêpe. Thank goodness for the Nutella.
