If you have the condition, you might see the color blue and your brain converts the input to perception of the scent of a rose in your mind.
In this case, Spanish artist José Maria Sicilia used computer software to convert actual sounds of a tennis match into colorful abstract images. So, a bouncing tennis ball, a racket smacking a ball, and applause are translated from sound into color and shape.
