Our visit to Modena continues.
Modena is home to a Ferrari museum, the Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari. (The nearby town of Maranello is home to another Ferrari museum.)
In 2017, Ferrari is celebrating 70 years of manufacturing high-performance cars. (Enzo Ferrari began building race cars years before, but regular production started two years after WWII ended.)
The Ferrari museum in Modena is located in two buildings: the former workshop of Enzo Ferrari's father Alberto and an adjacent ultra-modern building. When we visited, we the saw the exhibition "Driving with the Stars", which included models driven by Steve McQueen, Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton.

Below is a Ferrari customized for a princess.
The Engine Museum: The old Ferrari workshop is now home to a collection of engines. Over the years, the engine became more and more powerful.
A visitor seems confused: "How does this hybrid motor generate nearly 1,000 HP while reducing emissions by 40%?" |
The "Error Museum":
A reconstruction of Enzo Ferrari's office and "error museum". |
