Another Day Filled with Art (Part 1 of 2)

Viewing works of art is something we love to do and something we greatly missed during the break in The 10 Year Plan.

Today, we enjoyed a healthy dose of viewing great art when we visited The National Gallery in London.  The museum’s collection consists primarily of Western paintings from the Middle Ages to the 20th Century.  The collection is varied and includes some rare masterpieces, such Leonardo’s “Virgin of the Rocks”.

The National Gallery has a very good collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art.  Here is a sampling.

Please stand by.  More to come.
