Parks in Paris: Jardin du Luxembourg #3

The other day, while strolling in the 6th arrondissement, we visited the vast Jardin du Luxembourg.

We were pleased to see the changing leaves and blooming flowers.  We also discovered a mystery.

Below, Jean-Claude poses in front of the Palais du Luxembourg, once the country palace of Marie d'Medici and now the home of France's Senate.

From the garden, we had a view of the Pantheon.

The mystery we discovered is pictured below, a large green box.  Marie-Chantal appears a bit confused and fearful.

Below is a closeup of the mysterious green box.  We think the triangular opening and white spatters are clues.

Could it be a nichoir pour chauves-souris?  Let us know what you think.

Thanks for visiting the Jardin du Luxembourg with us.
