61 Rue de Rome, Paris 75008

It's time for another pop quiz, a very challenging one.

Pop Quiz:  What very important person lived at 61 Rue de Rome in the 8th arrondissement?

61 Rue de Rome
This person lived on the fourth floor in a bedroom overlooking the street.

Here is the answer.

Susan standing in front of the apartment building where she lived during her study abroad year (1974-1975).
Susan was happy to revisit her neighborhood.  A lot was the same as it was in the 70's, including the many neighborhood shops selling musical instruments.    The visit brought back many happy memories.

  3. Salut! I lived here with Madame Morizet in 1996-1997 with UMass Boston exchange program. We traveled together and used to talk in the afternoons over tea and madeleines. She was a special lady!

  4. Salut! I too lived at 61 rue de Rome with Mme Morizet, 1989-90, at 80 she was still foraging for mushrooms in the Bois de Boulogne every Tuesday. Magical experience, that year, still remember it with such poignant memories. UMass Amherst/Boston exchange.
