We recently visited the Hirshhorn and made a new friend named Hi.
Hi is an interactive, child-sized robot that greets visitors and shares information about the museum. After welcoming us, Hi told us about a new app--a free museum guide for your smartphone with audio and video content.
Hi is an excellent conversationalist, making eye contact with whomever is speaking. Hi even suggested taking a photo with Susan, offering a hand raised in friendship.

P.S. 10/16/2018 UPDATE: The Washington Post, in its kids section, published an article about the robots at the museum.
