We are always looking for new places to visit in Paris. Since there are so many, we will never run out and will miss many of them.
Friends recently recommend a visit to Jardin des Plantes, one of the city's largest parks.
Located in the 5th arrondissement near the Seine, Jardin des Plantes, is a lovely place to stroll and see beautiful flowers during Springtime.
The park was founded in the first half of the 1600's as a medicinal herb garden and evolved over time into a botanical garden, with diverse types of gardens. The park even has a zoo (moved here from Versailles during the Revolution.)
The park covers about 70 acres. So, long walks are a must. Let's take a walk together.
The park even has an insect hotel that caters to wild bees in order to promote biodiversity. The hotel is large--taller and wider than 6 feet.
Thanks for touring the Jardin des Plantes with us.
P.S. Some random dude (AKA Jean-Claude) was spotted in the park. Without his beret! Does he want to get sun burned?
