Museums in Paris: Musée des Arts Décoratifs (Part 2 of 2)

Our MAD visit continues.

The shoe exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs included an interactive exhibit.  Because Marie-Chantal loves shoes, she was eager to participate.    

Below are two videos featuring Marie-Chantal walking in Venetian platform shoes from the 1500's and French nobility shoes from the late 1400's.

The French shoes with the very long pointy toes were a status symbol, worn by a wealthy person who did not need to walk far.
