Street Art in Paris #7

We enjoy viewing street art as we ramble around Paris.  One of our favorites is the sign art of Clet Abraham.  While Clet's signs are not as prevalent in Paris as in Florence, we see his artistic street signs all over central Paris.  Here is a sampling.

In the 5th arrondissement, we spotted a permanent outdoor display of art and other subjects.  One of Clet's modified street signs, the "Key", was featured because the sign is located on Rue de la Clef (Street of the Key) in the 5th.  We like the symmetry of the sign and the street name.  We also appreciate the irony of the "do not enter sign' being negated by a key opening a locked passage.

We have also discovered modified street signs that emulate Clet Abraham's style.  We suspect they are not genuine Clet's, but we enjoy viewing them nonetheless.

Thanks for viewing more street art with us.  More to come.
