We visit the Musée d'Orsay frequently, thanks to an annual membership.
During some recent visits, we rambled around the museum and photographed some works of art that grabbed our attention. There is no common thread other than the paintings are from the Modern period. Enjoy!

The painting below depicts the church that we have attended during Year 4. It is located on Avenue George V, not far from (you guessed it) the Four Seasons George V Hotel.
The next paintings depict the dapper gent Henri Samary, a French actor. Although the styles are different, both paintings convey Samary's elegant style.
Here is one of Cézanne's many depictions of Mont Sainte-Victoire.
We also discovered an early painting by Pablo Picasso.
