Our return visit to the Pompidou continues with later works of art featuring geometric shapes.
At the same time that the Pompidou hosted the Cubism exhibition, it also hosted a retrospective of the work of Victor Vasarely, the father of "Op Art"--optical-kinetic art. The two exhibitions complemented each other.
If you have never heard of Vasarely before, you might still recognize his work and the work of his followers in geometric poster art of the 1960's and 1970's. Check it out.
