Museums: The Kreeger Museum #2 (Part 1 of 2)

We visited the Kreeger Museum earlier this year and, like the Phillips Collection, a large portion of the building was closed for renovation.  Recently, the Kreeger reopened its entire building.  So, before Year 3 ended, we returned to Kreeger to see what we missed on the first visit.  We are so happy that we did.

Here is a sampling of the works we saw.

Josef Albers (Bottrop, Ruhr, Germany, 1888—New Haven, Connecticut, 1976)
Homage to the Square: Wet and Dry, 1960
(Oil on Masonite, 24 x 24 inches)

Next Up:  More contemporary art at the Kreeger.
