Year 2 Nearing the End

Today starts the 30 day countdown to the conclusion of Year 2 here in Florence.  

We depart Italy on October 9.  While we might consider extending, our lease, visa and residence permit expire then.  Plus, the 10 Year Plan means we need to get started with Year 3 in Washington, D.C.

So, we will make the most of our last month in Italy, just like we strive to make every day count.  We are planning short trips near Florence and some longer trips.  Plus, we have our social, volunteer and church activities.   

The last month will fly by.  We will be sad to depart this beautiful city and our wonderful friends.
