More rambling in Rome.
During our walk around the heart of Rome, we saw many wonderful old sights. We also discovered some more modern things along the way.
Susan loves shopping. If she were going to become a priest or, even better, a bishop, then Barbiconi in Rome would be the place to shop for ecclesiastical vestments.
By now, you might be smiling while picturing Susan in a cassock or bishop's miter. Well, it turns out that there is a Saint Susan. We found a church in Rome dedicated to Santa Susanna and also a street dedicated to her. Saint Susanna of Rome was a virgin who lived in Rome during the 3rd century A.D. For her faith and refusal to bend to the Emperor's will, she was beheaded in 294. Who knew?
Along the way, we saw many of the luxury shops in Rome. Of course, we spotted a Gucci shop and window shopped. Susan thought Greg would look good in the outfit pictured below. Once in a while, Greg is in a grrrrr sort of mood.

During our Roman ramble, we saw some street art by Clet Abraham who is based in Florence.
We enjoyed some nice meals in Rome. We finished one meal by sharing a delicious dessert made with fragole, or strawberries, since they were in season.
Thanks for joining our ramble around Rome. We hope you enjoyed like we did.
