The Broadway musical School of Rock is a fun, loud good time. We recently saw School of Rock and recommend it, if you can't score ultra-high-priced Hamilton tickets.
The musical follows the plot of the 2003 film with some great singing and instrument playing by the principal performers, most of whom are young teenagers. Before the show, the show's producer and music writer Andrew Lloyd Webber, gives a recorded announcement that, yes, the young actors are playing the music live on stage. Of course, the music is fantastic and the cast's energy on stage is contagious.
Below are some photos from the event, plus some other photos.
