Charging Bull (Arturo di Modica, 1989) was placed in front of the New York Stock Exchange overnight on December
15, 1989. The general public swarmed to view the sculpture but the city quickly removed it. After public outcry, the city put the
sculpture back on temporary display two blocks away at Bowling Green, where it has remained, temporarily, since since 1989.
